Don’t Ever Get Married If You Can’t Do This

So glad I ignored my “What’s the Matter With Those PET PEOPLE, anyway?” attitude last night! It all started with a tweet by awesome news anchor, @danbharris, which said, “If you watch this video and are unmoved, I’m  not sure we can be friends.”
I was intrigued.
A click later I was on a site with nothing except a lot of hype about an animal shelter, rescued dogs, yada-yada-yada . . . or so I thought. Then I saw a prompt directing me to scroll down to see a video. That was about 18 hours ago. I’ve thought about little else since then.
What a great (unintended) illustration of what God did for me.
And for you.
I wondered how much better off we’d all be if we could be that safe place to fall for someone else.
If you don’t think you could EVER be either character in this video, please don’t ever get married.
(Remember to scroll down to see the video)

What a beautiful story. It’s a beautiful reflection of what God does for us….He doesn’t force himself on us, even when we hurt. He waits patiently for us to accept the love He offers, and the healing He offers for our souls.

It certainly is, Michelle. I was floored when I saw a vision of myself in a frightened puppy too afraid to accept even food because he doesn’t trust the hand offering it to him.
